MLEC School Grants - Deadline Oct. 20
(September 18, 2017) — Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative is accepting Adopt-A-School Grant applications through October 20, 2017. The cooperative offers two, $1000 grants in each county it serves to support its goal for commitment to the community.
This annual grant is intended to supplement funding of specific, innovative, classroom-level programs being carried out primarily in schools with greater fund needs. Projects should enhance learning opportunities for students.
To apply, school educators should submit an official application to Member Services, Attn. Vanessa Clayborn, MLEC, P.O. Box 240, Centerville, TN 37033, or e-mail it to email@example.com. Applications are available at each school, any MLEC office, online or can be requested by calling 931-729-7232.
“The education of area students is important to us,” says MLEC President and CEO Keith Carnahan. “These grants are one way we can invest in area schools and the learning process for students – our future members.”
