What’s the in-bound 1-800 service?
For no additional cost, you can get a 1-800 number to give to friends and family across the state or across the nation. The cost is just 5.9 cents for both in-state and between state calls.
Does it cost anything to sign up?
Nope. However, if any switching fees are incurred from your local phone company for changing to TWN, simply photocopy the portion of the bill that reflects those charges and forward it with your first payment to TWN. A credit will be applied to your next long distance bill.
Who will bill me for this service?
The bill will come from TWN. When you sign up, you can choose the payment method, including credit card draft. All billing inquiries should also be directed to TWN.
What is MLEC’s role?
This is a service passed through MLEC. MLEC owns no telecommunications lines or equipment. Your cooperative is offering this service to provide you with the lowest long distance rates around.
