Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative bylaws require that a qualified member wishing to run for the cooperative board of directors in October 2012 file a Declaration of Candidacy and Statement of Qualifications form.
The completed form should reach the MLEC Board Secretary no later than close of business on July 16, 2012. Elections are only held in districts where a director’s term expires. Humphreys County is the only district with an expiring term in 2012. Forms are available from MLEC. For more information and a list of candidate qualifications click here. MLEC district meeting dates will be announced in September.
